Meet the Parents

Our Bordoodles are unique in that our purebred Border Collie dams are bred with an F1 Goldendoodle sire. This combination creates a coat that gives puppies a teddy-bear look, curls, softness, and a non-shed, hypoallergenic coat that is easy to maintain. You puppies parents give them the best of both breeds and pass down exceptional genetic attributes that create generally multicolored, beautiful dogs. Additionally, the parents of your puppy are both breeds that have a great personality creating one of the most trending doodle dog breeds because of their nonaggressive, exceptionally intelligent, family-friendly, and highly trainable personalities.

Our dams and sire have been DNA tested for the presence of over 190+ genetic health risks, breed-relevant disease screening, including results for nearly all genetic mutation tests recommended by national breed clubs. In addition, our puppies’ parents have both been genetically trait tested (including coat color, body size, and more), DLA diversity tested, and genetic Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI) scored to ensure the healthiest puppies. The genetic testing completed prior to breeding our dogs meets the genetic standards accepted by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) for all conditions where OFA has an established DNA registry, as well as the UK Kennel Club and many other international organizations.
